Marshall Middle School After School Program is meeting on
Tuesdays and Thursdays at the
Marshall Middle School from 3:05pm-5:00pm. Activities for students in grades 5-8 will include:
activity room, indoor/outdoor sports, art, STEM activities, cooking, crafts, service learning and more.
Snack will be provided. Fee: $40 per person.
Ice Bocce 101 will be held on Sunday, February 17 from 6:30pm-8:00pm at the Red Baron Arena &
Expo. Ice Bocce makes great entertainment for all ages. Stop in anytime between 6:30pm and
8:00pm for demonstrations and game play. This event is free, but please pre-register with Marshall
Community Services at 507-537-6767.
iPhone Training will be held on Tuesday, February 19 from 7:00pm-9:00pm at the Marshall Middle
School (media center). Make the fundamental elements of your iPhone better – the display, the
camera, the settings, etc. Fee: $40 per person.
Stock Options for Income and Safety will be held on Tuesday, February 19 from 5:30pm-7:00pm
at the Adult Community Center. Learn the safest ways to trade options for additional income and
security in your portfolio. Fee: $20 per person.
MOVE! Swing will be held on Wednesday, February 20 from 6:30pm-7:30pm at the Adult
Community Center. This class is designed for adults of all movement abilities – no experience
required. Each week you can enjoy learning a different style of dance with new music. Fee: $10 per
session.
Wills, Trusts and Estate Planning will be held on Thursday, February 21 from 6:30pm-8:30pm at
the Adult Community Center. This is a thorough course covering the benefits and pitfalls of estate
planning using wills, trusts, power of attorney, and health care directives. Fee: $5 per person.
Introduction to Playing the Ukulele and More will be held on Saturday, February 23 from
10:00am-11:00am at The Note Gallery (356 West Main Street). You can learn how to play the
ukulele in just one session! Fee: $12.50 per person if you have a ukulele OR an additional $70 to
purchase your own ukulele kit.
Beginning Hockey will
be held on Mondays and Thursdays from 5:30pm-6:30pm from February 25
through March 21 at the Red Baron Arena & Expo. This program is for boys and girls ages 4 through
4th grade who have no previous organized hockey experience to have fun and be introduced to the
sport of hockey. Fee: $40 per person.
Gentle Yoga will be held on February 26-April 2 (Tuesdays) from 5:30pm-6:30pm at the Adult
Community Center. You will mostly be using seated postures to help you relax fully, get a long
stretch, and focus on being rather than doing. Fee: $45 per session.
How to Stop Feeling Overwhelmed will be held on Wednesday, February 27 from 5:30pm7:30pm at the Adult Community Center. Feeling overwhelmed in not only disempowering, it’s an
exhausting way to live. Come learn some tips so you can get the important stuff done and keep your
sanity and happiness at the same time. Fee: $20 per person.
The 7th Annual Moms’ Expo will be held in the evening on Thursday, March 21 at the Marshall
High School. Keynote speaker: Kari Loft on “It is what it is. It is what YOU MAKE IT!” The Moms’
Expo is a night for moms to get away from responsibilities at home, network with other moms who
know how demanding it can be to be a parent in today’s world, enjoy a meal (that they don’t have to
prepare) and listen to some great speakers! Join local mothers as they discuss specific topics. Visit

including schedule, presenters and small group topics. Fee (if registered by February 25): $20 per
person. Fee (if registered after February 25): $30 per person – dinner is included in the fee.

Nuts About Nature for birth – 5 years (listed on page 23): This “hands-on” experience will have
your adventurous preschooler excited about nature. Learn fun activities and games you can play as
they begin to explore the outdoor world around them. For this activity class you and your child will
remain together for the entire time. This class will be held on Thursdays (Feb. 28, March 7, 14, 21,
28, April 4) from 6:00pm-7:30pm. The fee is $24.
