United Way of SW Minnesota

United Way fights for the health, education and financial stability of every person in every community. In southwest Minnesota, we focus on health, education, financial stability, hunger and safety & well-being. United Way of Southwest Minnesota (hereafter UWSWMN) is investing 2019 campaign funds in initiatives, community partner programs and partnerships serving 50,500 local people.

Our current campaign will run through January 31, 2021, with a goal of raising $550,000 to support local people. Michelle Doeling and Rachel Nuese will chair this year's local campaign for United Way of Southwest Minnesota. Doeling works at Minnwest Bank in Marshall and serves on the UWSWMN board. Nuese works for Schwan's Shared Services, LLC and also serves on the UWSWMN board.

Dollars raised will be re-invested in local programs and people. Community investment volunteers from throughout our service area review local grant requests and making funding recommendations to our local Board of Directors to be certain that your donation makes the most impact. Contributions to your local United Way improve lives right here where you live. Your donation will go far…but not far away.
