Marshall Community Services Classes &
Courses

Winter Camping
teaches the fundamentals of winter camping such as shelter building, cooking and
cold weather safety. This class will
meet at 10:00am on Saturday, February 11 at the Adult Community Center to plan
the overnight campout – the location of the campout will be determined at this
meeting. The actual campout will be
held on Saturday, February 18 and Sunday, February 19.
Valentine Rock on Ice will
be held at the Lyon County Ice Arena on Saturday, February 11 from
6:30pm-10:00pm. This activity is
open to grades 1-8. The fee is $5
per person. Music will be provided
by the KKCK Sound Machine.
Concessions will be available.
The Lyon County Ice Arena
is open for the season. There will
be open hockey for adults on Wednesday evenings from 8:00pm-10:00pm.
Open skate will be on Friday evenings from 7:30pm-10:00pm, Saturday
evenings from 7:00pm-10:00pm and Sunday evenings from 7:00pm-9:00pm.
Coupon books will be available at the Lyon County Ice Arena and the
Marshall Community Services office.
Monthly open skate calendars will be available at the Lyon County Ice Arena, in
the Marshall Community Services office and online at
www.marshallmn.com.
Open Gym
will be held at the Marshall Middle School on Sunday afternoons through
March 25 from 3:00pm-5:00pm. All
ages are welcome – the fee is $2 per person.
Marshall Middle School After School
Program is open to all 5th-8th
grade students and meets Mondays through Thursdays from 3:05pm-5:00pm at the
Marshall Middle School. This program
will run through May – for only $50!
To register for this program, please pick up a form in the Marshall Middle
School Office or at Marshall Community Services.
