Beware of Scams like this from people responding to your ad from online classified services.

Below is a copy of an email that we have seen over and over again.  A Marshall woman was contacted and almost was taken for a ride when we alerted her about the scam. 
Notice the spelling and punctuation marks in the email.  Either intentional or unintentional they are a red flag.

We contacted the Marshall Police Department and they are well aware of this scam.  However this is more than likely an overseas scammer and is very difficult if not impossible to track down.

deduct the cost of your vechicle($4,000) and send the differece ($5,000) when payment gets to you to a shipping agent whoose information will be given to you as at when due, he will be needing the fund to offset shipping charges, taxes and other cosmetic repairs/touches,the agent will be responsible for signing andtransferin! g  of title paper and also pickup.
So i require of you to send me your NAME,ADDRESS AND PHONE NUMBER for payment to be delivered to you via fedex courier services All other information needed in completion of this transaction will be given to you in due time.
