Location: Lyon County Government Center, 607 West Main, Marshall, MN

Because foster parenting is different than parenting your own children and often more difficult, initial training is mandatory.  We ask that you commit to attending pre-service training as part of the licensing process. This initial training is provided periodically, generally in spring and fall, at no cost to you.  Pre-registration through Lincoln, Lyon, & Murray Human Services is required.  If you live outside the area, please contact your local county’s human services office for more information.
