Friends of the
Library present:
Carole Achterhof
On Monday September 29th come listen to
practical, often humorous approach to solving the problems of life’s
journey. Carole Achterhof, a Minnesota author will be speaking about
her humorous books including “How to Pose with a Fish,” “He’s a Keeper
I’m a Tosser,” and more.
Through
personal experience with numerous life challenges including the death of
a daughter and coping with the traumatic brain injury of another
daughter, Achterhof has found it is “better to crack up with humor than
to crack up with stress.” She will show the similarities between
creative thinking, writing, and problem solving, and emphasizes the
importance of stress-reducing statements. Achterhof speaks with
experience when she presents to her audience.
Join us as
we welcome Carole Achterhof on September 29th at 6:30 p.m. at
the Marshall-Lyon County Library for a sharing of stories interwoven
with a good dose of humor.
