SUBJECT:   BLR Drug and Gang Taskforce Arrests 
 

The Brown, Lyon and Redwood County (B.L.R.) Drug and Gang Taskforce have arrested the following individuals for illicit drug related activities today.  This is the conclusion of a 16-month investigation.  Officers from the BLR Taskforce, Marshall Police Department, Lyon County Sheriff’s Office and the Minnesota Bureau of Investigations were involved in the arrests.  Investigations are continuing and more arrests are expected to follow.  Lyon County Attorney’s Office is handling the prosecution. 
 

The BLR Taskforce consists of the Brown County Sheriff’s Department, New Ulm Police Department, Lyon County Sheriff’s Department, Marshall Police Department, Redwood County Sheriff’s Department and Redwood Falls Police Department.  The Taskforce is funded by local funds from member jurisdictions and grant funds provided by the Minnesota Department of Public Safety and Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Formula Program.
